It was blurry, so I just stopped using it, and enjoyed the small UI and text, the real estate for the videos was enough of a plus for me to stay like that. It's not cool because before we had to use the same trick to get bigger windows and text. I guess I'll have to live with the custom shortcut that opens resole with extra parameters. I was wrong, the 100% in Resolve is/was the same as "auto" :/, or the same as 18.1. I don't want to beat a dead horse but.īut I thought that when the scaling would be set to 100% in Resolve 18.1.1 (Windows), I wouldn't have to use this trick in the quicklinck :Ĭode: Select all C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -WindowStyle Hidden "$Env:QT_ENABLE_HIGHDPI_SCALING=0 start 'C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Resolve.exe'" If there is none I'll get used to it anyway, it's not that big of a deal now, but I would like an option to select the scaling in the app itself. I'm curious if there is a setting that I missed? - Or is there a command to add to the app link target to tell resolve to dismiss Windows's scaling? (the same type used to do the opposite back in the day). Today it's the opposite, instead of being smaller than all the other applications (because he didn't adapt to the Windows scaling), it's bigger than all my other applications :/ It's more difficult to navigate the UI with the small size, but I got used to the real estate, and the 100% view of the 1080p videos on my 4k screen. So at some point, I just let resolve not taking the Windows scaling into account, and be freeeeeeeeee at 100%. but it work, instead of having Resolve at 100% or 200%, it was in the middle, manageable but ugly.

The one that worked made the text blurry. The thing is, I tried all methods (posted on the forum) when I first started using Resolve not to be at 100% (when the windows scaling was at 125%). I can't do that, Windows would be tiny and all the same for all the applications. Ianwarsenault wrote:Change the scaling in the Windows display settings to 100%
